Be4 — For companies in motion

BEFORE identity comes strategy.

Be4 is a strategic brand diagnostic for businesses raising capital, rebranding or pivoting. In 3 to 4 weeks, you walk away with clear positioning, target market and differentiation vector — before committing budget to design or communications.

01

Be4 makes sense for you if…

A

…you're raising capital

Investors will look at your pitch and ask what the positioning is. Be4 delivers the strategic document that holds up that conversation. Without a clear answer, money is left on the table.

B

…you're considering a rebrand

You know the brand needs to evolve, but you're not sure where to start — and rebuilding a brand without direction gets expensive. Be4 maps the terrain before you spend on execution.

C

…you're in a pivot or expansion

The company changed — new product, new market, new moment — but the brand didn't follow. Be4 realigns strategy to where you are now, before that gap starts costing opportunities.

02

What you get.

A 60 to 90-minute session with the decision-makers, to discuss the findings and validate next steps.

03

The process, in four stages.

Every brand engagement runs into the same question — and it's a fair one: how does someone from the outside reach answers about your business that you, living it every day, still don't have? The answer isn't magic or isolated talent. It's method. And most of this work usually stays inside a black box — "trust us, in two weeks we'll deliver." I'd rather open it.

A

Initial conversation

We understand your context. You understand the method. We decide together whether it makes sense to go ahead.

30 min · no commitment
B

Extraction Meeting

An immersion with the decision-makers. This is where the work starts from the inside out: what comes out of this conversation is the knowledge you and your team already carry — history, instincts, patterns, what worked and what stalled — organized in a way it rarely is in one single place.

90 – 120 min
C

Analysis and construction

The intensive work of turning all of it into strategy — research, analysis and formulation. This is the stage that usually becomes a black box. I'd rather show what happens inside it.

01

We start from what you already know

The first answers come from within. We structure what came out of the immersion and what the company has already accumulated in perception about itself.

02

We read what your company already produces

Customer data, sales history, who closes and who doesn't, existing materials. If you already hold qualified information — as every company with traction does — it's the starting point, not something we ignore in order to "bring the truth from outside".

03

We map where you actually compete

How competitors position themselves, which territory is already taken and which space nobody has occupied. It's the outside crossed with your inside.

04

We make the synthesis that's hard to make from inside

This is the work that justifies bringing in someone from outside: it isn't having more information than you — it's having the distance, the method and the ability to turn all of it into a defensible decision rather than guesswork.

05

We separate certainty from hypothesis

Not everything can be proven at a table. Some definitions need to be solid now and will be validated once the brand meets the world. We'll name which is which — so you can decide clearly about what's firm and what is still to be tested.

Presentation + delivery

A live session with the findings and formal delivery of all materials.

Total duration: 3 to 4 weeks.

04

The method behind it.

Be4 is the foundation of a 9-layer brand method, developed over more than a decade of practice. It delivers the 3 strategic layers — the decisions that position and support everything that comes after. The other 6 make up the full branding project.

05

What you walk away knowing.

A

Why your brand exists — and for whom.

The functional answer, not the generic 'mission and values' version: if I have $X to invest in brand, who do I invest it in and how do I speak to that audience?

B

Where the market that pays off most is.

Not where you could operate — where you'll convert best. A decision on where to concentrate effort and investment, based on analysis, not on guesswork.

C

What actually sets you apart.

The concrete attribute that holds up positioning, pricing and the client relationship — not the pretty line in a deck.

D

The practical path to the next decision.

Prioritized recommendations with a time horizon: what to do now, what can wait, what you can ignore. Deciding to stay on the current path is also a decision.

About who delivers it.

I'm Leandro Monjardim, brand strategist and designer. For more than 15 years I've worked at that intersection — in advertising agencies, in creative leadership at startups, and across 100+ projects through my own studio. Today I work with companies that understand a strategic brand decision is a long-term asset, not a communications expense. Be4 is the distillation of that path into one focused product: strategic clarity before execution, so that every brand decision counts.

Frequently asked questions.

How do you reach answers about my business that I, from the inside, still don't have?

It's the fairest question a founder can ask — and the answer isn't that I know more about your business than you do. I don't, and I wouldn't need to. What I bring is something else: distance, method and the ability to synthesize.

In practice, the work starts from the inside. Most of the answers already exist in your company — in your data, in your instincts, in the patterns of who buys and who doesn't, in what you and your team have learned and never organized in one place. What's missing is rarely information; it's the time and the distance to see the whole thing without the bias of someone living it every day.

I structure that knowledge, cross it with a reading of the market and the competition — the outside — and turn it into a defensible decision: positioning, target market and differentiation that hold up. Where you already have qualified data, that's the starting point, not something I ignore. And where there's no certainty yet — in a brand still being built, for instance — I separate solid definition from hypothesis to be validated once the brand meets the world. You end up knowing what to trust and what is still to be tested.

How much does Be4 cost?

It varies with the size and complexity of the brand — which is why the first step is always a 30-minute conversation covering context, scope and investment. No commitment.

How does the conversion credit work?

If you move on to a full branding project after Be4, 30% of what you invested here becomes credit toward the subsequent project — valid for 12 months. Be4 becomes the first phase of the larger project, with no rework.

Why separate diagnostic from execution?

Because strategic clarity and creative execution are different jobs, with different risks. Investing in a full rebrand without having done the diagnostic first is the leading cause of projects that deliver visual beauty but don't solve the business problem.

What if the brand already exists and works reasonably well?

Be4 works very well in that scenario. Most clients don't want to start from zero — they want to understand what they have, what's worth preserving, what needs to evolve, and where the brand is losing force.

How does AI fit into this work?

AI speeds up research, competitive analysis and data synthesis during the process — always with human strategic curation. And one of the deliverables maps where AI can (or cannot) generate real advantage for your brand specifically.

Who should take part in the meetings?

Decision-makers only. Anyone who doesn't take part in the Extraction Meeting and the Executive Presentation doesn't take part in final approval. That keeps the process fluid and avoids noise.

Next step

Start with a conversation.

The first conversation carries no commitment, lasts 30 minutes, and happens over WhatsApp or video call. It's where we work out whether it makes sense to go ahead — for both sides.
